Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program such as Accounting/Finance and pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail and computer skills.
• Interest in construction industry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare invoice and expense reports.
• Assist in collecting and preparing monthly financial reports for review.
• Communicate with accounts payable and accounts receivable to track invoices and other essential information.
• Assist accounting team with budgets, forecasting, audit and other accounting processes.
• Perform data entry for accounting functions including accounts payable, receivables and other processing.
• Create and maintain filing systems for accounting functions.
• Perform general clerical duties to assist the accounting department.

Generous Compensation Package Includes:

• $22/hr starting wage.

Key Responsibilities:

Education Required:Working towards completing your Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Accounting/Finance degree.

Experience, Knowledge and Abilities Required:

• Currently attending a college or university in a related degree program such as Accounting / Finance / etc.
• Interest in construction industry preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail & computer skills.
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
• Interest in private accounting practices preferred, but not required.

Technology: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of computers, including e-mail and word processing abilities, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook

Work Environment: The setting for this position is in our main office building.
