Job summary

Planview is offering Accounting internship opportunities in Austin, Texas for the summer of 2027. You will gain paid work experience aligned with your academic learning and support Finance leadership on important financial processes.

You will help prepare cash forecasts and journal entries, leverage AI to suggest process improvements, and assist with reconciliations and financial close tasks as part of a hands-on learning experience.

Qualifications

• Open to students currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program, or recent graduates.
• Candidates must be available to work from our Austin office for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cash forecasts for Accounting/Finance Executives and the CFO.
• Utilize AI to enable process improvement recommendations across the team.
• Work with team members to identify outliers on reconciliations, diagnose the root cause of the problem, and deploy the solution.
• Prepare journal entries for cash reconciliations.
• Execute financial close tasks and draft commentary.

We’re looking for Accounting interns to join our team in Austin, Texas in the summer of 2027. In this role, you will help identify and solve business problems and be part of a system implementation.

Please note that the application window for this role will open on August 10 and complete on October 7. We anticipate beginning the interview process in late October.
