Forsyth Tech is hiring an Accounting Instructor for a 9‑month faculty position. The instructor will teach courses primarily in the Accounting program, design inclusive activities, and maintain accurate records. The role involves mentoring students and contributing to curriculum development.

The position supports student achievement and success from recruitment through graduation, with opportunities to engage in institutional service and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must meet SACS criteria and related accrediting agencies.
• Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Accounting or closely related field.
• Willingness to travel and teach at offsite centers as needed.
• Willingness and ability to teach face‑to‑face, online asynchronous, and online synchronous classes.
• Flexibility to teach morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend classes.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentations and collaboration apps.

Responsabilités

• Teach courses primarily in the Accounting program as assigned by the Department Chair and Dean.
• Design and implement inclusive instructional activities to maximize equitable outcomes.
• Maintain accurate college records including attendance and grade reports.
• Utilize learning management systems and update course descriptions and syllabi.
• Contribute to curriculum development and student mentoring.
