POSITION SUMMARY

We seek a detail-oriented, highly analytical Accounting/FP&A Manager to join our finance team. This role will assist with general accounting functions, monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, financial statement preparation, reporting and compliance, economic forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong financial modeling skills, and excellent communication abilities. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, general ledger, and tax prep support
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
  • Maintenance of current accounting/finance tools and integrations, as well as implementation of new systems
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for financial analysis
  • Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making
  • Continuously improve and document financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

NEEDED TO SUCCEED

Successful candidates will have:

  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/financial software applications, such as Sage Intacct, Ramp, and Prophix
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A friendly, collaborative, humble, honest, and always striving to be better attitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and financial analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience using enterprise-level accounting systems
