Kinetic Personnel Group seeks an Accounting & Finance Specialist in Perris, CA for a ~6 month, full-time assignment. The role pays $38.41–$52/hr, depending on experience, and involves reconciliations, project accounting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities include month-end close support, project billing, asset accounting, and coordinating with auditors. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience preferred. Public sector or utilities exposure is a plus.

• Experience with accounts receivable, general ledger, project accounting, WIP, or fixed assets.
• ERP/accounting system experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Experience supporting month-end or year-end close and audits is a plus.
• Public sector, utilities, construction/project accounting, or similar experience is a plus.

Accounting & Finance Specialist Industry: Government Location: Perris, CA Pay: $38.41–$52/hr, depending on experience Duration: Approximately 6 months Schedule: Full-Time

• Support capital and fixed asset accounting
• Prepare and review journal entries and financial transactions
• Assist with project billing and maintain customer contract balances
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounting and financial records
• Prepare spreadsheets and financial reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities
• Provide documentation and schedules for year-end auditor requests
• Work within an ERP/accounting system to maintain financial information

Qualifications:

• Previous accounting, finance, or fiscal support experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations
• Experience with accounts receivable, general ledger, project accounting, WIP, or fixed assets

• Ability to research discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records

Education/Experience:

Candidates with either strong technical accounting experience or professional accounting experience will be considered. Level and compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications
