Job summary

East Penn invites motivated students to apply for the Finance/Accounting Internship for Summer 2026. You will join the accounting team to gain hands-on exposure to financial reporting, budgeting and auditing, while contributing to month-end close processes and supporting forecasting activities.

During the internship you’ll reconcile accounts, assist with financial statements, prepare data summaries, and participate in cross-functional projects within Corporate Finance.

Qualifications

• Full-time student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related degree.
• May–August 40 hours/week, hourly pay.
• Projects during internship and potential to present a project to the team.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience across Corporate Finance, Accounting and Pricing Operations.
• Support Cost Accounting with year-end inventory processes and update cost data.
• Collaborate with Corporate Pricing to analyze sales operations and pricing strategy.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, data summaries and performance metrics.

• Support theCost Accounting teamwith year‑end inventory processes and assist in updating annual cost data.
• Collaborate with theCorporate Pricing teamto analyze sales operations and contribute to pricing strategy development.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, data summaries, and performance metrics to support decision‑making.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects, providing support to multiple teams within the Finance organization.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to ad hoc tasks and initiatives as assigned by Finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Full‑time student majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related degree.
• Full‑time 40 hours per week during the summer (May‑August), flexible schedule, and hourly pay.
• Work is project‑oriented and upon completion of the internship, the student may present a project to East Penn team.
• Project work based on needs of department as well as skill set/major.
