MiTek Industries in Chesterfield, MO offers a paid 12-week internship for students nearing degree completion. You will be paired with a Manager and Mentor to work on impactful projects and present outcomes at the end of the program, with networking opportunities and leadership exposure in a hybrid work setting.

Gain real-world accounting experience across general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, fixed assets and cost accounting; support month-end close, reconciliations and financial analysis

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting degree; GPA 3.0+
• Excel skills: pivots, VLOOKUP, formulas
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle or ERP systems
• Attention to detail in data entry
• Strong analytical and time-management skills
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities and account reconciliations.
• Contribute to financial analysis and cost accounting initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement and efficiency projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting-related tasks.
• Gain exposure to GL, AR, AP, and fixed assets in a corporate environment.
