Freddie Mac’s Finance Division offers Accounting & Finance Interns hands-on experience in accounting, finance, business analysis, and the mortgage industry. Interns will support closing the books, analyze data, and prepare internal financial reports while learning from seasoned professionals.

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s in related fields, be a junior or rising senior, and be available to start in May 2027 with graduation expected in 2027 or 2028.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Current junior in college or rising senior at the time of the internship
• Availability to begin the internship in May 2027
• Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills

Responsabilités

• Support accounting activities related to closing the books and producing GAAP financial statements.
• Develop your business understanding by reporting on and analyzing data.
• Assist in preparing unbiased financial reports on business performance for internal management.
• Gain an understanding of specialized areas of the Finance Division and related areas of the company.
• Contribute to projects that help solve business problems with guidance from experienced team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues to execute projects, share knowledge, and build relationships.
