Ferretti Search is partnering with a growing organization to identify a hands-on Accounting & Finance Director to lead its day-to-day accounting function while providing meaningful financial analysis and business partnership to leadership.

This role blends 60% accounting and close with 40% FP&A, forecasting and reporting, empowering you to build scalable processes, improve controls, and partner with senior leaders to drive profitable growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Own the full close process and accounting function.
• Demonstrated FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling.
• Strong financial reporting and business analysis capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and management reporting.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and fixed assets.
• Provide oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Coordinate annual audit, tax, and other external reporting requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Prepare monthly reporting and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Develop financial models to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Build dashboards and management reporting for leadership.
