Mercor, a leading partner connecting AI labs with top talent, seeks an Accounting Expert for a remote contract. You will apply deep US GAAP knowledge to month-end close, prepare financial statements, and support audits and advisory work.

The role requires 5+ years of professional accounting experience, CPA or equivalent certification, and exceptionally strong written communication. You will design precise grading criteria for real-world accounting tasks, score AI-generated and human work

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Background in audit, assurance, or advisory at leading global accounting firms.
• CPA or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
• Deep fluency in US GAAP application, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Exceptionally strong written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable having your judgment reviewed.

Responsibilities
