Our client is a privately held US direct lender that provides short-term, asset-backed bridge loans to real estate investors, based in Arizona. The firm is small and close-knit, lends its own capital alongside private investors, and manages every part of the loan process in house. The loan file moves at the speed of its documents, and the investors are paid on time because somebody keeps the records straight.
This is a hybrid seat: accounting support in QuickBooks Online on one side, executive and operational support for the principals on the other. The client says it plainly: you may spend the morning on QuickBooks reconciliations and the afternoon drafting a response to an investor inquiry or coordinating a travel itinerary. It suits a CPA who likes variety and is comfortable stepping outside the ledger when the team needs it.
The boundaries are equally plain. This role is data entry, tracking, coordination, and reporting. It does not include ACH or wire authorization, bank runs, or physical document handling of any kind. You keep the records accurate and flag what does not add up, and the principals make the money move.

- Familiarity with bridge lending, private money lending, or real estate investment operations.
- Experience with document management workflows (e-signature platforms, loan file systems).

What Makes You a Great Fit
- You are a CPA who is just as comfortable building a travel itinerary as reconciling an account, and you do not see either as beneath the other.
- You notice the $250 that does not tie out, and your instinct is to flag it, not to make it disappear.
- You write to an investor the way a principal would want to be represented: short, courteous, exact.
- You keep things moving without being chased, and you say early when something is stuck.
- You treat an investor's balance, a principal's calendar, and a borrower's financials as things that leave the firm only through the front door.
