Job summary

Wake Tech in Raleigh, NC seeks a program administrator to coordinate accounting instruction across campuses. You will support the Department Head in recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and supervising adjunct and full-time faculty to ensure instructional quality and alignment with college policies.

The role includes oversight of departmental supplies, curriculum development, student enrollment activities, and reporting on program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or related with 18 graduate hours in accounting.
• One-year post-secondary teaching experience in accounting.
• Demonstrated supervisory and/or leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department Head in recruiting, hiring, and supervising adjunct faculty.
• Assist in scheduling classes and creating faculty schedules.
• Oversee curriculum development and alignment with program goals.
• Monitor enrollment trends and maintain enrollment records.
• Coordinate supplies, textbooks, equipment, and instructional resources.
• Support faculty professional development and advising initiatives.
• Participate in policy development and division projects as assigned.
• Ensure course syllabi comply with college policies and requirements.
