H & R Foods, a division of PAK Quality Foods, seeks an Accounting & Customer Service Representative to support accounting, customer service, and daily office operations. This role serves as the primary contact for customers, assisting with inquiries, billing questions, and payment processing.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting or customer service experience, strong Excel skills, and professional communication abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting, customer service, or office support experience preferred.
• Experience with invoices, billing, payments, AP/AR is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, invoices, payments, credits, and account status.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, and Accounting to resolve issues.
• Process customer payments and maintain accurate customer records.

About the Role

H & R Foods, a Division of PAK Quality Foods, is seeking an Accounting & Customer Service Representativeto support accounting, customer service, and daily office operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with account inquiries, order-related issues, billing questions, payment processing, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate service.

What You’ll Do

Customer Service

• Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, invoices, payments, credits, and account status.
• Resolve customer issues by coordinating with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Logistics, and Accounting.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through professional and timely communication.
• Process customer requests and maintain accurate customer records.

Accounting Support

• Process customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions, while maintaining accurate customer account records.
• Assist with accounts receivable activities, including payment posting, customer account reconciliation, and collections support.
• Support accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, matching, and verification.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with audit preparation and compliance documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

Administrative Support

• Coordinate office supplies and administrative support as needed.
• Provide backup support to accounting and customer service team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.

Current college students pursuing a related degree are encouraged to apply.

2+ years of accounting, customer service, or office support experience preferred.

Experience with invoices, billing, payments, AP, AR, bookkeeping, or customer accounts is a plus.

Experience in food distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or a related industry is a plus.

Working knowledge of accounting principles.

Basic mathematical and cash-handling skills, including the ability to accurately count, calculate, and process customer payments.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Professional phone, email, and customer service communication skills.

Dependable, professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
