Job summary

James Hardie is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support finance and operations from an operating site in Texas. This full-time, in-person role handles production data entry, raw material reconciliation in SAP, and accounts payable tasks while assisting month-end close and SOX controls.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, ERP experience (SAP preferred), and strong Excel with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Production Data Management: Enter and reconcile production data for sheet machine and finishing, review quality control releases, and escalate discrepancies as needed.
Raw Material & Procurement Support: Receive raw materials in SAP, reconcile key materials, and assist with invoicing, POs, and aged receipts for buyer process.
Financial Operations Support: Assist accounts payable tasks, manage aged GR/IR, and support journal entry review/preparation.
Month-End Close & Compliance: Support day 0 production closure, document SOX controls, and assist overall month-end close activities.
Operational Collaboration: Act as site production confirmation point of contact and backup for storeroom receiving.
