Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is offering a co-op position in the finance organization. The student will assist with variable cost analysis, daily P&L exposure, travel expense processing, and account reconciliations while supporting SOX compliance activities.

The role includes reporting to department managers, month-end close support, and participation in internal control testing. A GPA of 3.0+ and pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of accounting and finance principles required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Strong writing and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with variable cost analysis and reporting.
• Support month-end close activities and GL entries.
• Prepare reconciliations and SOX compliance documentation.
• Assist with internal audits and controls testing.
• Contribute to data analysis for management inquiries.
