Job summary

Jones Petroleum is seeking an Accounting Clerk for our Jackson, GA office. Responsibilities include daily deposits, A/R management, invoicing, month-end processing, customer statements, bank reconciliation, and maintaining customer accounts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience with strong customer service.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Team player.
• Peachtree/Sage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record daily deposits.
• Maintain accounts receivable and review delinquency.
• Enter invoices and pay vendors.
• Assist in month-end processing.
• Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements.
• Assist in Balance Sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Setup and maintain customer accounts.
