Job summary

Penske Automotive Group is seeking an Accounting Clerk in Fairfield, Connecticut to enter, maintain, and reconcile financial data and accounting records in accordance with company policies.

You will support the dealership network with precise clerical tasks, assist with voucher and invoice processing, and help ensure regulatory compliance while contributing to a collaborative, growth-focused team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent; and six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Obtain, enter, and maintain financial data and accounting records in accordance with company policy and procedures.
• Compile and sort documents substantiating business transactions; prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records quickly and accurately.
• Understand and comply with all regulations that affect the accounting department and perform tasks accurately and in accordance with policies.
