Air Combat Command at Offutt AFB is seeking an accounting professional to perform double-entry accruals, maintain journals and ledgers, and prepare monthly and annual financial reports for activities serviced by the accounting unit.

The role involves reviewing documents for accuracy, resolving discrepancies with vendors, and closing accounts on a regular cycle. This is a non-appropriated fund position with a guaranteed 20 hours, potentially up to 40 hours per week.

Formación

• Double-entry accrual accounting experience.
• Experience posting to ledgers and journals.
• Monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain journals and ledgers and ensure mathematical correctness of documents.
• Post to ledgers, reconcile and prepare monthly statements.
• Prepare worksheets, reports, and close accounts; assist in private organization duties.
