Job summary

Champion Foods LLC is seeking an enthusiastic accounting professional to join our fast-paced finance team in Michigan. You will handle general accounting functions, including cash applications, accounts payable and receivable, and period-end close support, acting as a reliable contact for the assigned zone.

You should bring an Associate’s degree in accounting and at least two years of related experience, plus strong Excel skills and experience with Infinium or similar financial software.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting training/classes or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated project management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Excel and Infinium or equivalent financial applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of accounting processes for new initiatives.
• Manage invoicing, cash receipts, disbursements, and related transactions.
• Assist with accounting and billing for assigned departments.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with period-end close.
