Role Description

This full-time, on-site Accounting Clerk role is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Accounting Clerk will support daily financial operations, including recording transactions, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. This role will help maintain accurate financial records, prepare basic financial reports, and support month-end closing activities. The Accounting Clerk will also collaborate with branch staff to verify rental-related charges, ensure proper documentation, and respond to internal inquiries about billing and payments. Attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to consistent, reliable support for the finance team are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Accounting and Bookkeeping principles, with the ability to maintain accurate ledgers and records.
• Experience using Accounting Software to enter transactions, generate reports, and support daily financial processes.
• Understanding of Finance concepts and Financial Statements to assist in basic reporting and analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfortable working with numerical data.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with branch and office teams.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
• Associate degree or equivalent coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience also considered.
• Prior experience in an accounting or clerical finance role; experience in automotive, rental, or service industries is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site in San Juan and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
