Responsibilities

• Support client onboarding processes for all assigned engagements following our defined procedures.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, monthly closing, financial reporting, and analysis. May include payroll and special projects.
• Understand professional accounting practices such as preparing Depreciation Schedules, Sales Journals, Sales Tax Returns, and payroll record reviews.
• Perform detailed audits to ensure accuracy in financial documents, expenditures, and investments.
• Forecast revenue and analyze profit margins.
• Oversee ledger reconciliation and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare and file Corporate and Individual Income Tax Returns, including 1099s and other tax documents.
• Research complex tax issues to identify solutions.
• Assist with research projects and financial report preparation as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, audit, or tax.
• Turkish CPA (SMMM) license is a plus.
• Experience with outsourced accounting services is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Business English (interviews conducted in English).
• Ability to analyze complex data creatively and thoroughly.
• Strong dedication to a career in accounting and tax.
• Quantitative, analytical mindset.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Highly organized with multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Location: Home office.
• Work hours aligned with US Eastern Time Zone.
