Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Coda Search is partnering with a prominent PE group with offices in New York and I wanted to shoot you a quick note to connect. This firm has around $2.5BN AUM and invests heavily across the media, technology, entertainment, and telecommunications sector. This team is seeking to hire an Accounting Associate who will sit in the portfolio investments team where they will have blended responsibilities across investment accounting, FP&A and portfolio reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the GL and reconcile accounts and prepare journal entries
• Prepare full cycle AP
• Prepare and calculate managements, interest accurals and distributions
• Prepare customized investor reports with commentary
• Analyze metrics with various portfolio companies
• Assist with the annual audit and tax filings working closely with the outside CPA firm

Qualfications:

• Bachelors in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting
• CPA a plus or work towards highly preferred
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups and pivots)
• Ability to work cross functionally across the entire firm
