Job summary

Five Star Infrastructure Services seeks an Accounting Associate to join our corporate accounting team. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team to process financial transactions and support month-end close.

You will administer the corporate credit card and travel & expense programs, manage expense platforms, perform reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and help with audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and internal controls desirable.
• Experience with Acumatica, ERP/Accounting software or other construction software a plus.
• Experience with BILL Spend & Expense, Corpay or similar expense management systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Administers the Company's corporate credit card and travel & expense programs, including card issuance and maintenance.
• Monitors expense report submissions and corporate card transactions for policy compliance.
• Reconciles corporate credit card activity and maintains balance sheet accounts.
• Prepares routine journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Assists with bank reconciliations and audit requests.
• Maintains accounting records in Acumatica and other systems.
• Supports month-end close activities and financial reporting.
• Identifies process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
