CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking an Associate to join our CAAS (Manufacturing Industry) group in our Central Illinois office. You will support client service, manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll postings, and assist with month-end reconciliations as part of a collaborative CPA-led team.

The role emphasizes accounting and financial experience, a bachelor’s degree, and opportunity for career growth.

Qualifications

• Accounting or financial experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree required; related experience may be accepted.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Client Service: Assist understanding of client operations and manage multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Day-to-Day Transactions: Help process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, and payroll postings.
• Month End Processing: Prepare and review reconciliations; support complex reconciliations and general ledger tasks.
• Other Quarterly/Annual Processing: Assist with sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and audit workpapers.
