speakit is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join its international Financial Services team in Athens. You will support supplier invoice processing, postings and Accounts Payable activities while collaborating with teams across Europe.

This role offers growth in international finance processes, exposure to SAP, and opportunities for professional development in a dynamic, global environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Shared Services or Business Operations is an advantage.
• An MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field is a strong asset.
• Pursuing ACCA/ACA/CMA/IFRS Diploma encouraged.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English & Bulgarian.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Process, review and validate supplier invoices and accounting documents.
• Record accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records in SAP and other financial systems.
• Support Accounts Payable operations, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time.
• Investigate invoice discrepancies and resolve matching issues with internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support the preparation and analysis of accounting reports and financial information.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Treasury, Tax and business teams across Europe.
• Contribute to process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives.
• Assist with audits and develop knowledge of international accounting processes.
