Job Purpose

AHM holds over $800M of inventory purchased from over 1,200 suppliers. This team is responsible for reconciling and paying over 500K invoice lines annually, totaling over $640M of inventory.

This role contributes to the level one tree objective related to leading levels of customer satisfaction and strengthening operational efficiency to minimize expenses.

The position duties include: Authorization of timely and accurate payments to assigned Parts suppliers by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and statements.

Key Accountabilities
  • Pay Supplier Timely - Entering invoices and resolving quantity discrepancies promptly. Obtaining and reconciling 100% of statements from suppliers. Notes on all items over 120+ days old, with progress monitored monthly. Monitoring and clearing partial invoices and receivers.
  • Manage Delivery Trouble Reports
  • Shared Responsibilities such as entering packlists within 3 days of receipt, follow-ups on issues within 3 days, mail and memo distribution, and Aging Report management.
  • Perform Work Accurately and Efficiently, with minimal errors, correct classification of receivers for monthly aging report, and proper classification of invoices on statements.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Minimum Educational Qualifications: Entry level, Associates Art or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Accounting
  • Minimum Experience: 1-3 years relevant experience in accounting; knowledge of warehousing or procurement processes and automated financial systems; some Microsoft Office experience (Excel and Word)
  • Other Job-Specific Skills: Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills; self-starter; strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills; 10-Key by touch required
Workstyle

This position will be 80% onsite.

This role requires extensive communication and follow-up with suppliers to ensure timely payments and meet deadlines. Due to quantity discrepancies, the ability to analyze root causes and collaborate with parts centers for resolution is essential. Excellent time management is necessary to respond effectively to ongoing deadlines and ensure supplier payments are made on time.
