Location: Remote; reside within our 5 states or 250 miles from Chicago HQ or Richardson HQ.

Pay: $17-20 per hour

Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our call center team. In this role, you will assist internal and external customers by responding to account billing inquiries, conducting research, and supporting basic accounting tasks—all while delivering exceptional service over the phone.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to general account billing inquiries for internal and external customers.
• Research internal resources to gather and verify other group information (effective date, active status, premiums, etc.)
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations involving basic numeric comparison.
• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, customers, etc.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED- Education verification is required
• 1 year of experience in accounting OR 12 credit hours of accounting coursework.
• PC proficiency- Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Aptitude for math and 10-key skills.
• Detail oriented.

Preferred:

• 1 year call center customer service experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Experience working in BlueStar.
