Job summary

Back Market is offering an Accountant Apprentice position in Paris as part of its Finance team. You will handle accounts payable, assist with monthly closings, and manage accounting tools in a fast-paced, international setting.

This internship requires enrollment in a French work-study program, with a hybrid work arrangement and a start date in September 2026. The role emphasizes hands-on experience and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience in AP, month-end closings and financial controls.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork across a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable end-to-end and match provider invoices with POs.
• Keep open orders in check and resolve outstanding purchase orders timely.
• Contribute to monthly closings including accruals and prepaid expenses.
• Reconcile supplier accounts and manage expense systems.
• Drive process improvements to speed up accounting operations.
