Job summary

Orbiss is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage the full accounting cycle for a portfolio of international clients. You will prepare statements, perform variance analysis, and provide KPI-driven insights for timely, accurate reporting.

You will also lead reconciliations, support intercompany consolidations, and collaborate with tax teams while coaching junior staff. A CPA and 3+ years in an international firm are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in a CPA firm, including international cross-border engagements.
• Hands-on experience managing month-end and year-end close, preparing financial statements, performing variance analysis, and completing reconciliations.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and internal controls.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience serving as a direct point of contact for clients and reviewing work from junior accountants.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for an assigned client portfolio and oversee the full accounting cycle from bookkeeping through month-end and year-end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, perform variance analysis, and deliver executive summaries with KPIs and improvement insights.
• Perform bank, credit card, balance sheet, intercompany, and accrual reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and technology tools to enhance efficiency and financial visibility.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations, support consolidation for multi-entity structures, and collaborate with tax teams to ensure accurate compliance support.
• Support, coach, and review junior team members as needed.
