As an Accounting Analyst, you will play a key role supporting Sales Accounting operations through customer invoicing, financial transaction processing, account reconciliations, and reporting activities. This position is responsible for ensuring financial information is processed accurately, customer billing activities are completed timely, and accounting records are maintained in accordance with established procedures. The role performs accounting support activities including posting entries, resolving discrepancies, processing payments, and reconciling information within financial reporting systems.

In this role, you will partner closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, customers, contractors, and other internal business partners to support customer-facing accounting processes. You will help ensure the accuracy of financial transactions while providing excellent service and responsiveness to stakeholders across the organization.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting customer invoicing activities, resolving transaction-related issues, and assisting with financial reporting and reconciliation processes. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, sound problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

What You Will Do
Sales Accounting & Customer Support
  • Process customer invoicing activities and support accounting transactions related to sales operations.
  • Respond to customer, contractor, vendor, and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding billing, payments, account activity, and financial transactions.
  • Partner with Commercial and Sales teams to support customer-facing accounting activities.
  • Assist with payment processing and billing activities while ensuring timely and accurate transaction execution.
  • Support customer-focused accounting processes while maintaining a high level of professionalism and service.
Accounting Operations & Reconciliation
  • Post accounting entries and verify information entered into financial reporting systems.
  • Reconcile reports, investigate discrepancies, and resolve transaction-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with general ledger activities, transaction classification, and financial record-keeping processes.
  • Support month-end and periodic reporting activities by ensuring financial information is complete and accurate.
Collaboration & Process Excellence
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Commercial Operations, and other business partners to resolve accounting issues.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Work independently to manage day-to-day responsibilities while contributing to team objectives.
  • Utilize established procedures and controls to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Support a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
What You Have
Accounting & Financial Operations
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial transactions, and record-keeping practices.
  • Experience supporting accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, billing, or financial operations activities preferred.
  • Understanding of account reconciliations, transaction processing, and financial documentation.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and identify discrepancies.
Attention to Detail & Problem Solving
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze information, and support effective resolution of accounting-related problems.

What Will Set You Apart
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing, Bookkeeping, or Financial Operations.
  • Experience supporting customer invoicing and payment processing activities.
  • General ledger and account reconciliation experience.
  • Experience interacting directly with customers regarding billing or account-related inquiries.
  • Familiarity with commercial, sales, manufacturing, construction, equipment, or industrial business environments.
  • QuickBooks or other ERP/accounting system experience.
