Job Summary

Speria MTech is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our growing Finance team.

This role will support the Financial Controller and broader Finance organization through balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close activities, and audit support. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, and experience working through recurring accounting processes in a corporate environment.

This position is well suited for an accounting professional looking to continue developing their accounting career while contributing to a collaborative and growing organization.

Responsibilities and Duties

Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Ensure supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
• Assist in maintaining the accuracy of account balances.

Month-End Close Support

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Assist with account analysis and reconciliation activities.
• Help ensure accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely.

Audit Support & Documentation

• Prepare audit support schedules and documentation.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Organize and maintain accounting records and supporting files.
• Support the Finance team in responding to auditor information requests.

Team Support & Process Improvement

• Collaborate with Finance team members on recurring accounting activities.
• Assist with documentation of accounting processes and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and organization within accounting workflows.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience.

• Experience performing balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience supporting audits and preparing accounting documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within SaaS, technology, software, or other growth-oriented environments.
• Exposure to revenue recognition, deferred revenue, or subscription-based business models.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems.
