Fervo Energy offers a hands-on internship where you own a real project from day one. Over 12 weeks you’ll collaborate with Accounting and AI teams to streamline workflows using automation and GenAI tools, culminating in a formal end-of-summer presentation to executives and department leads.
You’ll gain practical experience at the intersection of data, automation, and energy, with a clear path toward future opportunities. This is a tangible, professional internship with real impact.
You won't be running coffee orders or shuffling paperwork this summer. At Fervo, interns are handed something real: a project of your own, scoped with your manager on day one and yours to drive for the full 12 weeks. You'll work side-by-side with the teams building the next generation of geothermal energy, tackling problems that genuinely move the business forward. At the end of the summer, you'll present your work to our executive leadership team, department leads, and fellow interns, sharing real results with a real audience. This is a real seat at the table - and a real shot at what comes next.
Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. Our flagship Cape Station project in Milford, Utah is one of the largest next-generation geothermal developments in the world, and our Houston headquarters houses the engineering, commercial, and corporate teams driving Fervo's growth. This role sits at the intersection of accounting and automation - you'll work alongside Accounting and AI teams to identify manual, repetitive accounting workflows and help prototype ways to streamline them using automation and AI tools.
