Job summary

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants to teach Accounting as adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes at Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or other off-campus centers.

Initial assignment may be at a teaching location, but official work station may change each semester. The role requires use of the eLearn system and adherence to deadlines for attendance and grades.

Qualifications

• Teach assigned Accounting courses at multiple campuses (Covington, Dyersburg, Paris) or online.
• Prepare course materials, evaluate student learning, and maintain records.
• Communicate curriculum and personnel needs to assigned chair/dean.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses for discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
• Coordinate with centers for scheduling and locations, attend required meetings, and report attendance and final grades by deadlines.
• Use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes and communicate curriculum changes as appropriate.
