Job summary

Technical College of the Lowcountry in Beaufort, SC seeks an Accounting instructor to deliver instruction with hands-on and online modalities (including Zoom). The role includes developing syllabi and lesson plans, assessing student progress, and maintaining attendance and grade records.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or 18 graduate hours in accounting is required.
• Experience teaching accounting is preferred.
• Experience delivering instruction online or via Zoom is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction including hands-on, Zoom and/or online delivery.
• Classroom management and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis.
• Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Recommend for approval instructional materials for a course(s).
• Work with other areas of the college to support tutoring, retention and student success.
• Attend relevant professional meetings and represent the College positively in interactions with the community and academic groups.
