Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo Group in New York seeks an experienced tax accountant to compile data and documentation for federal, state, and city returns, and liaise with external tax advisors.

You will prepare monthly tax provisions, assist with 1099/1042-S forms and contribute to various tax projects while supporting the accounting department. Strong MS Excel/Word skills and an accounting degree are required. Fluency in Italian is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience in financial services.
• Taxation, General Accounting and financial reporting background.
• Exceptional analytical, research and critical thinking skills.
• Prolific self-starter, capable to work well independently.

Who we are looking for

We would be pleased to hear from you if you have:

• 5/7 years of experience as an accountant in financial services
• Taxation, General Accounting and financial reporting background
• Exceptional analytical, research and critical thinking skills
• Prolific self-starter, capable to work well independently
• Fluency in Italian language is a plus
• Practical knowledge of MS application such as Excel and Word
• Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance

What we offer

• The salary range for this position is 100k $- 130k $
