Position Overview/Duties

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a permanent Accountant (Staff) position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District - Resource Management Office. This position is located in Concord, MA. Position will be filled at the GS-05, GS-07, GS-09, GS-11 or GS-12 grade level.

Other Conditions And Requirements

Specialized Experience GS-12: One year of specialized experience which includes:

• Manage financial operations for organizational programs
• evaluate fiscal controls for operational funds
• provide technical guidance to junior accounting staff
• coordinate audit-readiness activities
• resolve complex accounting discrepancies

This definition of specialized experience is performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
