Job summary

Enterprise Mobility is seeking an Accountant at its Rockville, MD headquarters to execute accounting procedures that lead to financial statements, month-end close, and analysis.

The role starts as an Accountant with growth toward supervisor roles in a business management team; benefits include PTO, health and retirement plans, and opportunities for internal advancement within a promotion-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• At least 6 months experience in customer service, leadership, accounting or administration.
• Leadership experience could include involvement in organizations, clubs, volunteer work, community service, athletics or military service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements.
• Perform branch audit evaluations.
• Assemble bank reconciliations and account schedules.
• Prepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocations.
• Participate in timely month-end closing processes.
• Assist personnel with questions on accounting policies and procedures.
• Analyze income statement fluctuations.
• Provide cost-saving ideas and process improvements.
• Manage financial records and assist in financial reporting.
• Support budgeting and forecasting.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments.
