Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking a finance professional to join our Warren, MI team as a Controller. You will report to the Segment Group Controller and partner with managers to ensure accurate financial results across subsidiaries.

You will lead monthly close, prepare financial packages, manage reconciliations, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting. Strong internal controls and US GAAP expertise are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of GL and financial reporting experience.
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-location organizations preferred.
• Strong internal control environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Report to Segment Group Controller and collaborate with managers.
• Prepare monthly financial packages for subsidiaries.
• Manage monthly financial reporting, reconciliations, and analysis.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist audits and maintain internal controls in SOX compliance.
• Understand cost models across multiple systems.
