Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd is seeking an accounting assistant to support month-end closing, process journal entries and accruals, and assist with reconciliations using an ERP system.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s Degree or higher in Accounting, strong Excel skills (pivot, lookup, formulas), exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and communicate clearly. This on-site role requires independent work and a proactive approach to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field required.
• General ledger knowledge required.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, filters, tables).
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end closing function to include processing journal entries and accruals.
• Complete cash and other general ledger account reconciliations.
• Review, report, and reconcile bank & credit card statements.
• Validate wire instructions and payments.
• Complete monthly corporate benefit allocations.
• Execute monthly corporate credit card expense allocations.
• Assist in audits (daily, monthly, yearly).
• Utilize ERP system to analyze general ledger activity.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and current organizational needs.
• Develop understanding of existing processes and propose improvements.
