Job summary

Jobtailor in Plano, TX is seeking an Inventory Accountant to manage inventory accounting activities, analyze inventory-related financial data, and prepare accurate financial reports to support business operations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, Treasury, and Supply Chain teams in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus and Oracle EBS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory accounting, including reconciliations, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and month-end close activities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large data sets and perform complex financial analysis.
• Experience with inventory management systems and ERP platforms required.
• Oracle EBS preferred.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills with the ability to identify process improvements and leverage technology to drive efficiencies.
• Ability to partner effectively with Merchandising, Finance, Treasury, and Supply Chain teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess desire for process improvement and efficiencies
