Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• 2-4 years of insurance industry or relevant accounting experience.
• CPA preferred; Big Four public accounting experience a plus.

Our Kforce client located in the Saint Louis, MO area is seeking an Accountant III to support financial reporting, accounting research, and close activities. Summary: This role will assist with quarterly and annual reporting, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, review financial statements for accuracy, and help maintain processes and controls related to GAAP, JGAAP, and STAT reporting. The hybrid position also supports accounting research, process improvements, cross-training, and special projects as needed. The client offers salary and benefits and opportunity for growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years of insurance industry or relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• CPA preferred
• Big Four public accounting experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
