This is a remote position.

In the midst of a significant back-office transformation, we need a motivated individual to assist in this change for Revenue Accounting. As a contractor, you will collaborate closely with your manager, Revenue Accounting, the Controllership, System Integrators, Project Managers, Engineers, and other key stakeholders. You will assist in UAT initiatives and help roll out system and process changes across the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence and improve our back-office functions and future success.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings to discuss and document project requirements related to U.S. GAAP, focusing on Revenue Recognition.
• Work with your manager to understand operational capabilities and the feasibility of proposals.
• Perform UAT and track and resolve issues discovered during testing.
• Support the broader team in transitioning to new business models and system flows.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to handle ambiguity.
• Effective communication skills; ability to understand and present data.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, especially revenue recognition.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with RAR, SAP, Business Objects, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in software or SaaS industries.
• Strong analytical and data mining skills.
• Creative, enthusiastic, and capable of inspiring others.

Must Haves

• Experience with UAT.
• Background in revenue accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with Finance ERP systems.
