Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Hybrid Role

Hybrid position (3 days/week in office) across several U.S. locations. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the chosen office.

Responsibilities

As an Accountant III, you will handle a variety of general, cash management/treasury, or cost accounting activities, including:

  • Preparing monthly journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and related documentation.
  • Reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing all necessary documentation.
  • Accurately producing components of basic corporate and subsidiary financial statements.
  • Collecting, validating, and summarizing accounting or statistical data.
  • Maintaining allocation tables within the cost accounting system.
  • Preparing and analyzing administrative cost and budget reports, investigating variances.
  • Coordinating with other plans and departments as needed.
  • Providing internal and external auditors with reconciliations, schedules, and adjustments.
  • Performing cost trend analysis and allocation updates.
  • Mentoring new team members and assisting with onboarding.
  • Preparing ad‑hoc analyses and reports for management.
  • Supporting the operation of complex financial systems.
  • Contributing to the design, development, and testing of financial system updates.
  • Assisting Accountants I and II with routine job functions.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred certifications: CPA, CMA or MBA.

Work Environment
