Job summary

Mezzo Technologies, a subsidiary of Signia Aerospace, seeks a skilled Senior Accountant in Baton Rouge to oversee complex accounting, ensure GAAP compliance, and support financial reporting. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, a Bachelors degree in Accounting, and strong analytical skills. CPA preferred.

  • CPA license preferred or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex accounting activities and support financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical accounting expertise, mentor junior accountants, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Support management through financial analysis, reporting, and participation in strategic accounting and operational initiatives.
  • Accurate and compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Manage complex reconciliations and specialized accounting activities.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Provide reliable financial analysis and audit support.

Education

Bachelors degree in Accounting
