The State of Oklahoma’s Department of Public Safety is seeking an Accountant II to maintain financial accounting data, post journals and ledgers, and prepare financial statements and expenditure reports for review. Responsibilities include accounts receivable, invoicing, data management, and coordinating payments across departments.

Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and PeopleSoft is required; this full-time, regular position is not eligible for remote work and offers a comprehensive state

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or closely related field with one year of professional accounting experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience with accounts receivable and invoicing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and PeopleSoft.
