Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with GASB standards and governmental reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or closely related field; MBA preferred.
• CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compile and analyze financial information for general ledger accounts.
• Prepare month-end and year-end work papers and reconciliations.
• Analyze assets, liabilities, fund balance, revenues, and expenditures; prepare statements.
• Document and coordinate accounting policies and procedures.
• Implement accounting and control systems and budgets.
• Advise departments on accounting matters and procedures.
• Provide information to external auditors.
• Monitor and maintain financial reporting systems for integrity.
• Investigate and correct errors in financial entries and reports.
• Oversee division or project administration and special work projects.
