Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products Roofing & Stone Division is seeking an Accountant II to manage the accounting activities of the assigned plant, including recording, analyzing, and reporting financial information. The role supports management with timely, accurate financial data to drive operational and business decisions.

Responsibilities include monthly close, AR/AP processing, budgeting, forecasting, and cross-location coordination, along with ensuring internal controls and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 3+ years of cost or industrial accounting experience.
• SAP and ERP experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting and financial close processes monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Handle AR/AP functions including invoicing and vendor/payables.
• Prepare schedules and analyses for financial reporting requirements.
• Assist in monthly forecasts and annual operating budgets.
• Coordinate accounting activities across plants, locations, and departments.
• Maintain internal controls within assigned areas of responsibility.
