Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join the Corporate Finance and Accounting team. You will prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, handle stock compensation accounting and forecasting, reconcile general ledger accounts, and support the SEC reporting process.

You will analyze financial data, provide audit assistance for financial, regulatory, and health plan audits, and help ensure compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years accounting experience.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and closing entries.
• Handle stock compensation accounting and forecasting.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts.

Pay Range: $56,200.00 - $101,000.00 per year
