The Accountant II is responsible for performing a variety of professional accounting functions, including preparing, analyzing, and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. This role supports the organization's financial operations through the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, reconciliations, and other financial reports that assist in business decision-making. The Accountant II works with minimal supervision, applies established accounting principles and sound judgment to resolve routine and moderately complex issues, and collaborates with internal departments to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency. The position may also provide guidance and support to less experienced accounting staff while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the accounting function.
