Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality management, is looking for an Accountant I in Birmingham, AL. You will work with a team supporting multiple entities, handling full-cycle accounting and financial reporting, with exposure to industry best practices.

Ideal candidates are detail-focused, comfortable with Excel/M365, and eager to learn, with a BA in accounting and an interest in CPA. This role offers growth within a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Basic proficiency in Excel and M365 Suite; GAAP fundamentals.
• Internship or coursework in accounting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with daily accounting activities, posting transactions and record-keeping.
• Support monthly financial statements and schedules under supervision.
• Perform basic reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Monitor cash activity and coordinate weekly disbursements with clubs.
• Collaborate with General Managers and corporate teams to provide financial support.
• Participate in training and process-improvement initiatives.
• Present financial information clearly for internal discussions and occasional client-facing moments.
